AB III é terceiro álbum da banda americana de alternativo/post-grunge Alter Bridge. A banda surgiu em 2004 após a pausa da também banda alternativa Creed. O nome da banda traz referencia a um lugar que a mãe do guitarrista Mark Tremonti, o proibia de ir. Em 2004 durante a pausa do Creed o guitarrista Mark Tremonti e o baterista Scott Phillps se juntaram com seus amigos Brian Marshall (baixista) e Myles Kennedy (vocalista) para formar o Alter Bridge.
